SOME BY MI Super Matcha Pore Clean Cleansing Gel 100ml

SOME BY MI Super Matcha Pore Clean Cleansing Gel is a low-pH gel cleanser for oily and combination skin that wants a thorough, fresh pore cleanse. Its first ingredient is matcha water (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water, 62%).

How it works

The gel turns into a soft lather using mild cleansing agents such as potassium cocoyl glycinate and glucosides. SOME BY MI says its micellar bubbles are around 100 times smaller than a pore, to lift sebum and impurities. Naturally derived BHA from willow bark and PHA (lactobionic acid) help loosen dead skin cells, while fine calamine, matcha and tea tree leaf powders give a very gentle polish; SOME BY MI also describes konjac granules for soft physical exfoliation. Centella asiatica, allantoin and sodium hyaluronate help the skin feel comfortable after rinsing.

Who it suits

Oily, combination and blemish-prone skin, and anyone with visible pores or a shiny T-zone who prefers a gel to a creamy foam.

What it will not do

It is not designed as a make-up remover; for waterproof make-up or heavy sunscreen, use a cleansing oil or balm first. It does not shrink pores permanently, and it does not treat acne or any skin condition.

Good to know

The green specks are matcha and tea tree leaf powders. Massage gently rather than scrubbing, and avoid the eye area. The formula contains fragrance. If you also use acid toners or retinoids, introduce one new product at a time.

1. Wet your face and hands with lukewarm water.
2. Lather a moderate amount of gel between wet hands.
3. Massage evenly over the whole face, avoiding the eye area.
4. Rinse off with lukewarm water, then follow with toner and serum.
