L'Oréal Professionnel Keratin Alpha Sleek Professional Hair Mask 250ml is a rich, 5-minute smoothing mask for frizzy, unruly or dry-feeling hair of any type. It is the regular conditioning step of the Keratin Alpha Sleek range.

How it works

L'Oréal Professionnel formulates it with a Keratin-alpha shaper and amino chains. The brand says its rich, sensorial texture deeply nourishes while reshaping and smoothing the hair's keratin, softens and hydrates, and gives instant shine with frizz and volume control. The base includes glycerin, glycine and shea butter. L'Oréal describes it as alcohol-free and free from artificial colourants.

What it will not do

It is a conditioning mask, not a long-lasting smoothing treatment. L'Oréal's 2 weeks of smoothness and frizz control come from instrumental tests after 4 uses of the routine Shampoo + Smooth Transformer + Serum, so for that result you need the Smooth Transformer once a week. Keratin is not listed in the ingredients; the name refers to the range's technology.

Good to know

250ml jar. Leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse. Contains silicones (aminopropyl dimethicone, an amodimethicone) and two palmitoyl peptides. Use it on the wash days when you are not using the Smooth Transformer.

1. Wash with Keratin Alpha Sleek Shampoo.
2. Apply the mask evenly from lengths to tips.
3. Leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse.
4. For long-lasting smoothness, use the Smooth Transformer once a week and this mask on your other wash days.
In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly.
