L’Oréal Professionnel Vitamino Color Spectrum Glass Shine Hair Kit

L'Oréal Professionnel Vitamino Color Spectrum Glass Shine Hair Kit is a mini colour-care set for coloured hair, with a Vitamino Color Spectrum Shampoo 100ml and a Vitamino Color Spectrum Glass Shine Serum 30ml. It gives you the cleansing step and the leave-in shine step of the Vitamino Color Spectrum routine in trial sizes.

How it works

L'Oréal Professionnel names ferulic acid and citric acid as the key ingredients of the Vitamino Color Spectrum range, designed to help keep colour inside the hair fibre. The shampoo cleanses with a creamy, dense foam. The Glass Shine Serum is a leave-in finish with 5% Alpha-silane, which L'Oréal says forms a protective layer on the fibre when heat-activated. L'Oréal reports up to 72 hours of glass shine after application and an anti-frizz effect in air humidity up to 80%, in instrumental tests.

Who it suits

Coloured hair, especially vivid shades, that needs more shine and less frizz. It also suits anyone who wants to try the Vitamino Color Spectrum range before buying full sizes, or who needs a small colour-care set for a trip.

What it will not do

It is a mini set, so it will not last many washes, and it does not add or change hair colour. L'Oréal's colour-vibrancy result of up to 100 days comes from testing the full routine, not from the shampoo and serum alone, and results depend on your hair. The serum is silicone-based, so it is not for silicone-free routines. The shampoo's ingredient list includes sodium laureth sulfate, so check the label if you avoid sulfates.

Shampoo (100ml):
1. Apply evenly to wet hair.
2. Massage until a lather forms.
3. Rinse thoroughly.
4. For best results, follow with a Vitamino Color conditioner or mask.

Glass Shine Serum (30ml):
1. Shake before use.
2. Apply to clean, towel-dried hair. Dispense one pump at a time: 1-2 pumps for thin to medium hair, 3-4 pumps for thicker hair.
3. Distribute evenly through lengths and ends. Do not rinse out.
4. Dry the hair completely and style. The serum is designed for use with a straightening iron.
