L'Oréal Professionnel Vitamino Color Mask

L'Oréal Professionnel Vitamino Color Mask is a rinse-out hair mask for colour-treated hair that also feels dry or sensitised. It conditions, softens and helps keep colour looking vibrant.

How it works

L'Oréal formulates the mask with resveratrol, an antioxidant, and describes it as intensely hydrating, helping to protect colour from fading and to detangle and add shine. L'Oréal reports up to 8 weeks of colour protection for its Vitamino Color routine in instrumental tests.

Who it suits

Coloured, highlighted or balayage hair that needs more care than a conditioner gives, especially mid-lengths and ends that feel dry. Suitable for men and women.

What it will not do

It does not deposit pigment or tone, so it will not refresh a faded shade. It is a care product, not a bond repair treatment for severely damaged hair. L'Oréal's colour-protection figure relates to the Vitamino Color routine, not to the mask alone.

Good to know

Available in 250ml and 500ml. Leave it on for 3-5 minutes; you can use it in place of conditioner once or twice a week.

1. Wash with Vitamino Color Shampoo.
2. Apply a generous amount to clean, wet hair.
3. Work through mid-lengths and ends with your fingers or a comb.
4. Leave on for 3-5 minutes.
5. Rinse thoroughly.
