The VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot EX Cica Modeling Pack is a 25g single-use, peel-off rubber mask for sensitive, stressed or redness-prone skin that needs calming and moisture. You mix the powder with water, spread it on thickly and lift it away in one piece once it has set.

How it works

A base of diatomaceous earth, calcium sulfate, algin and kaolin sets into a flexible film that sits closely on the skin; retailers note that the diatomaceous earth also absorbs excess oil and impurities. Centella appears in several forms (leaf and stem powder, extract, madecassoside, asiaticoside), alongside houttuynia cordata, green tea, licorice root and aloe, to soothe the look of redness. Milk exosomes and sodium hyaluronate add moisture, and Cica-Reedle micro-spicules (VT's silica and centella particles) are included to help these ingredients absorb.

What it will not do

It does not treat rosacea, eczema or any skin condition. The calming effect is temporary, and it will not clear blackheads or shrink pores permanently.

Good to know

Use 6-7 spoons of water with the enclosed spatula and apply within a few minutes of mixing, before the mask starts to harden. Keep it away from the eyes and lips. 1. Carefully open the cup's sealing paper (a knife helps).
2. Using the enclosed measuring spatula, add 6-7 full spoons of water to the cup and mix thoroughly.
3. Apply the mixed mask thickly and evenly to clean skin, avoiding the eyes and lips.
4. After 15-20 minutes, peel the mask off.
5. Wipe away any residue with a toner or toner pad, or rinse lightly with water.
Tip: apply within a few minutes of mixing to prevent hardening or clumping.
