L'Oréal Professionnel Serioxyl Advanced Purifier & Bodifier Shampoo 300ml is a purifying shampoo for thinning hair that lacks density. It cleanses the scalp and gives the hair more body.

How it works

The lightweight gel contains magnesium sulphate, which L'Oréal says helps clear build-up from the roots. L'Oréal reports up to 22% more volume straight after one use, lasting up to 24 hours, in an instrumental test, and says it gives a feeling of renewed density.

Who it suits

Men and women whose hair looks thin or flat and lacks density, and anyone with fine hair who wants more body without heavy products.

What it will not do

A shampoo does not regrow hair or stop hair loss; its effect on volume lasts until the next wash. If you are losing more hair than usual, speak to a doctor or dermatologist. It is not sulfate-free: the cleanser is Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate.

1. Apply evenly to wet scalp and hair.
2. Lather gently with your fingertips until a light foam forms.
3. Rinse thoroughly.
4. In the evening, follow with Serioxyl Advanced Density Activator Serum.
If the product gets into your eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly.
