L'Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Molecular Repair & Strength Hair Kit

L'Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Molecular Repair & Strength Hair Kit is a mini repair set for damaged hair, with an Absolut Repair Molecular Shampoo 100ml and an Absolut Repair Molecular Rinse-Off Serum 50ml. It gives you the cleansing step and the rinse-off repair step of the Absolut Repair Molecular routine in trial sizes.

How it works

L'Oréal Professionnel builds the Absolut Repair Molecular range on a peptide bonder and five amino acids, delivered separately into the hair fibre. The shampoo cleanses with a rich foam, and L'Oréal describes it as sulfate-free. The Rinse-Off Serum is used instead of your regular mask after shampooing. L'Oréal describes the serum as highly concentrated with 2% peptide bonder and 5 amino acids, to help rebuild damaged hair structure and restore strength, elasticity and movement.

Who it suits

Damaged hair of any texture, including bleached, lightened, colour-treated and heat-styled hair, and hair that feels weak or lacks movement. It also suits anyone who wants to try the Absolut Repair Molecular range before buying full sizes, or who needs a small repair set for a trip.

What it will not do

It is a mini set, so it will not last many routines. The serum is a rinse-off treatment, so it does not replace a leave-in product. L'Oréal's strength results come from testing the complete routine, not from these two products alone, and results depend on the condition of your hair. The serum contains hydrolyzed wheat protein, and the shampoo's cleansers include sulfosuccinate and sulfoacetate, so check the ingredient list if you avoid specific ingredients.

Shampoo 100ml and Rinse-Off Serum 50ml. Use the serum after shampooing and detangling, on wet hair, in two sections from lengths to ends, and rinse thoroughly. Shampoo (100ml):
1. Apply to wet hair.
2. Lather until a rich foam forms.
3. Rinse.

Rinse-Off Serum (50ml):
1. Use instead of your regular mask, after shampooing. Detangle the hair first for better absorption.
2. On wet hair, divide the hair into 2 sections. Press 2-3 pumps of serum onto your hands and distribute evenly from lengths to ends on one section. Repeat on the other section.
3. Rinse thoroughly.
4. For best results, follow with the Absolut Repair Molecular Leave-In Mask.
