L'Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Molecular Repair & Shine Kit

L'Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Molecular Repair & Shine Kit is a mini repair set for damaged hair, with an Absolut Repair Molecular Shampoo 100ml and an Absolut Repair Molecular Bi-Phase Oil 30ml. It gives you the cleansing step and the leave-in finishing step of the Absolut Repair Molecular range in travel sizes.

How it works

L'Oréal Professionnel builds the Absolut Repair Molecular range on a peptide bonder and five amino acids, delivered separately into the hair fibre. The shampoo cleanses and detangles, and L'Oréal describes it as sulfate-free. The Bi-Phase Oil has two layers: a water phase with 1% peptide bonders and five amino acids, and a concentrated oil phase for shine and frizz control. L'Oréal reports up to 100 hours of shine and 3-day anti-frizz for the oil in its instrumental tests.

Who it suits

Damaged hair of any texture, including coloured, lightened and natural hair. It also suits anyone who wants to try the Absolut Repair Molecular range before buying full sizes, or who needs a small repair set for a trip.

What it will not do

It is a mini set, so the shampoo and oil will not last many washes. L'Oréal's repair results come from testing the full routine (shampoo, rinse-off serum and leave-in mask), not from these two products alone, and results depend on the condition of your hair. The shampoo's cleansers include sulfosuccinate and sulfoacetate, so check the ingredient list if you avoid specific cleansers.

Shampoo (100ml):
1. Apply to wet hair.
2. Lather until a rich foam forms.
3. Rinse.
4. For best results, follow with the Absolut Repair Molecular Rinse-Off Serum and Leave-In Mask.

Bi-Phase Oil (30ml):
1. Shake the bottle well until the two layers blend into a fine mix of droplets.
2. Apply one to two pumps to the palm and spread through damp or dry hair, avoiding the roots and scalp.
3. Do not rinse out.
