L'Oréal Professionnel Curl Expression Intensive Moisturizer Rich Mask is a rinse-off hydrating mask for very dry curly and coily hair. It has a rich, buttery texture that melts into the curls, and it is the richer of the two Curl Expression masks.
How it works
The formula is concentrated with glycerin, Urea H (Hydroxyethyl Urea) and hibiscus seed extract to hydrate and condition the curls. Conditioning agents such as behentrimonium chloride and amodimethicone help soften the hair and make it easier to detangle. You leave it on for 10 minutes after shampooing, then rinse.
Who it suits
Very dry, thick or coarse curls and coils that need more than a light conditioner, and curls that feel rough or tangle easily. If your curls are fine or wavy, the lighter Curl Expression Intensive Moisturizer Mask may suit you better.
What it will not do
It is a rinse-off treatment, so it will not define curls, give hold or protect from heat. It will not repair bleach or heat damage at bond level, and on fine hair it can feel heavy.
Good to know
250ml jar. Leave on for 10 minutes. Contains amodimethicone (a silicone), if you avoid silicones. The ingredient list can vary by market, so the list on your pack is the final reference.
