L'Oréal Professionnel Curl Expression Intensive Moisturizer Mask is a 250ml rinse-off hydrating mask for curly and coily hair. It is part of the Curl Expression range and is described as a rich, creamy mask that hydrates, detangles and adds shine to curls and coils.
How it works
You apply it to towel-dried hair after shampoo and leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse. Its formula includes glycerin, hydroxyethyl urea and hibiscus (okra) seed extract, moisturising ingredients chosen for curls. Retailers carrying the brand's information describe hair as looking up to 2x more hydrated and instantly shinier, with easier detangling.
Who it suits
Dry, frizz-prone curls and coils, from loose curls to tight coils, including sensitised hair. It suits men and women with curly hair.
What it will not do
It is a weekly-style hydrating treatment, not a styler: it will not hold or define curls on its own, so follow with a leave-in or a curl styler. It does not repair broken bonds in bleached hair. Fine curls may feel weighed down if you use too much.
