L'Oréal Professionnel Curl Expression Drying Accelerator is a finishing spray for curly and coily hair that takes a long time to dry. L'Oréal Professionnel says it speeds up drying by up to 37% while adding care, shine and heat protection up to 230°C.
How it works
It is the last step of the Curl Expression routine, sprayed over styled curls before air-drying or diffusing. In L'Oréal's instrumental test with blow-drying, hair dried up to 37% faster than before application, and the brand states heat protection up to 230°C. It is an alcohol-free formula with a micro-dispersion ring diffuser that sprays ultra-fine droplets without disturbing the curl pattern.
Who it suits
Curly and coily hair, especially thick curls that take a long time to dry, people who use a diffuser regularly, and anyone who wants to cut drying time without another layer of cream.
What it will not do
It does not give hold or definition on its own, so use it over your usual styler. It will not replace a leave-in moisturiser for very dry hair. The 37% figure was measured with blow-drying; drying times when you air-dry will vary.
