L'Oréal Professionnel Curl Expression Caring Reviver Spray is a leave-in caring mist for curly and coily hair that has gone flat or frizzy between wash days. L'Oréal Professionnel says it helps revive your curl pattern every morning, after friction with the pillow, for more definition.

How it works

L'Oréal describes a caring water concentrated with 3% Glycerin, Urea H and hibiscus seed extract, made to moisturise and fortify curls and coils. The brand calls the formula alcohol-free, and its micro-dispersion ring diffuser releases ultra-fine droplets, so you can mist the hair evenly without soaking it.

Who it suits

Curly and coily hair of every curl type, especially if your curls flatten at the back of the head overnight or lose their shape on day two or three. It suits anyone who wants to refresh curls without washing and restyling the whole head.

What it will not do

It is a refresher, not a styler with hold, so it will not replace a gel or cream on wash day. It will not repair damage from bleaching or heat, and very dry curls may still need a richer leave-in moisturiser.

1. Use in the morning to revive curls, or as the last step of your routine.
2. Hold the spray about 20cm from the hair and mist evenly over curls and coils.
3. Let the hair dry naturally or use a diffuser.
