L'Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Molecular Rinse-Off Mask is a 250ml mask for damaged hair of any texture, including bleached and coloured hair. It is the rinse-off mask of the Absolut Repair Molecular range, with 2% peptide bonder and five amino acids, and it works in 1 to 2 minutes.

How it works

L'Oréal Professionnel builds the Molecular range on a peptide bonder and five amino acids (glycine, arginine, serine, tyrosine and glutamic acid, all in the ingredient list) that target damage inside the hair fibre. In L'Oréal's instrumental test of the full routine (shampoo, rinse-off serum, leave-in mask and this mask), it reports two years of damage repaired in one use, and a rebuilt molecular structure after 7 applications. The brand states the mask is free of the sulfates SLS and SLES.

Who it suits

Damaged hair of any texture (straight, wavy, curly or coily) and thickness, especially hair that is lightened, coloured, chemically treated or often heat-styled. It suits men and women.

What it will not do

1. Shampoo with Absolut Repair Molecular Shampoo, then apply the Rinse-Off Serum and rinse, for best results.
2. Apply the mask evenly to towel-dried hair.
3. Leave on for 1 to 2 minutes.
