Kevin Murphy Volume Blowout Ritual

Kevin Murphy Volume Blowout Ritual is a three-step set for fine, flat or regularly blow-dried hair: a strengthening wash, a repairing conditioner and a leave-in plumping treatment.

How it works

The set, as listed in the store, includes BLOW.DRY WASH 250ml, BLOW.DRY RINSE 250ml and BODY.MASS 100ml.

BLOW.DRY WASH is a shampoo with hydrolysed pea protein and a Wood Bark Complex that Kevin.Murphy says strengthen hair against breakage. BLOW.DRY RINSE is a repairing, nourishing conditioner that forms a protective layer against colour loss and environmental stress. Both add heat protection when used as part of the BLOW.DRY regimen. BODY.MASS is a leave-in plumping treatment with Wild Olive Tree stem cells that makes hair look and feel thicker.

Order of use: BLOW.DRY WASH, BLOW.DRY RINSE, then BODY.MASS on towel-dried hair, then blow-dry.

Who it suits

Fine, flat or thinning-looking hair that is blow-dried often and needs body and strength.

What it will not do

The set adds body and strength; it does not regrow hair or reverse hair loss. Kevin.Murphy makes no heat-protection claim for BODY.MASS itself, only for the BLOW.DRY wash and rinse used together.

Step 1, BLOW.DRY WASH: apply to wet hair, massage through scalp and hair and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.
Step 2, BLOW.DRY RINSE: apply to freshly washed hair, distribute through the mid-lengths and ends and rinse thoroughly.
Step 3, BODY.MASS: towel-dry the hair, spray evenly through damp hair, concentrating on the roots. Do not rinse.
Blow-dry and style as usual.
