The Kevin Murphy Scalp Detox and Soothe Set brings together SCALP.SPA SCRUB 180ml, SCALP.SPA TREATMENT 170ml and SCALP.SPA SERUM 45ml for a three-step scalp routine.

How it works

Step 1, SCALP.SPA SCRUB: a pre-wash exfoliator with perlite spheres, micellar water and celery seed extract that lifts impurities from the scalp. Step 2, SCALP.SPA TREATMENT: a calming foam masque with celery seed extract, carrot root extract and hyaluronic acid, left on for 20 minutes. Step 3, SCALP.SPA SERUM: a lightweight leave-in serum with celery seed extract, rose flower oil and lavender oil for an itchy, dry or irritated scalp.

Who it suits

People with scalp build-up, excess oil, a dry or irritated scalp, or who use a lot of styling product or dry shampoo and want a dedicated scalp-care routine.

What it will not do

The set does not include a shampoo (Kevin Murphy suggests SCALP.SPA WASH after the scrub, sold separately), and it is not a medical treatment for scalp conditions. Kevin Murphy does not publish a single combined schedule, so the order here follows each product's own instructions.

Contents: SCRUB 180ml + TREATMENT 170ml + SERUM 45ml, each full size. Use the scrub before shampooing, the masque after cleansing as directed on its label, and the serum as the leave-in finish. Each component is also sold on its own.

Step 1 - SCALP.SPA SCRUB: apply to wet hair, massage the scalp and roots with fingertips in circular motions, rinse, then wash (Kevin Murphy suggests SCALP.SPA WASH, sold separately).
Step 2 - SCALP.SPA TREATMENT: shake well, part clean hair into sections, stripe along the scalp, massage in and rinse after 20 minutes.
Step 3 - SCALP.SPA SERUM: part the hair, apply to the scalp where needed or all over on damp or dry hair, leave in.
