Anua Niacinamide 10% + TXA 4% Serum 30ml

Anua Niacinamide 10% + TXA 4% Serum is a watery, fragrance-free serum for anyone who wants to improve the look of dark spots, post-blemish marks, dullness and enlarged pores. Anua combines 10% niacinamide, 4% tranexamic acid (TXA) and 2% arbutin, which it calls a concentrated trio.

How it works

Niacinamide (vitamin B3) helps even out the look of skin tone and pores. Tranexamic acid and arbutin both target the look of discolouration, so marks and dull patches become less noticeable with regular use. Anua adds ceramide NP, several forms of hyaluronic acid and polyglutamic acid for hydration, in a lightweight, non-greasy texture that absorbs easily.

Who it suits

Oily, combination and normal skin, including skin with marks left by breakouts. Anua describes it as low-irritation and fragrance-free, so sensitive skin can try it after a patch test.

What it will not do

It will not remove deep or long-standing pigmentation; Anua's serum guide says it is not a fix for persistent melasma-like patches. It does not stop new marks forming without daily sun protection, and results take several weeks of consistent use.

Good to know

Anua suggests applying a small amount to the areas of concern first, then gradually widening the area and the length of use. Use morning and night before oils and moisturisers, and wear SPF 30 or higher during the day. Anua also suggests using it on body areas with uneven tone.

1. Apply a few drops to the areas of concern and pat in gently.
