Anua Heartleaf Pore Clay Pack 100ml

Anua Heartleaf Pore Clay Pack is a wash-off Korean clay mask for oily, combination and congested-looking skin with visible pores. It pairs two clays with heartleaf extract, so a weekly pore-cleansing step does not leave skin feeling tight.

How it works

According to the brand's listing, the formula contains 20% kaolin and 35,000ppm bentonite. These clays absorb excess oil and lift impurities from the skin's surface, which helps pores look cleaner and more refined. Houttuynia cordata (heartleaf) extract at 10.1%, with centella asiatica extract and a trace of quercetin, is included for soothing care. A protease enzyme helps soften dead surface cells for a smoother feel, while hyaluronic acid, soluble collagen, panthenol and ceramide NP help keep skin comfortable after rinsing. The texture is creamy, with a eucalyptus scent.

Who it suits

Oily and combination skin, shiny T-zones, blackhead-prone areas and anyone who wants a quick weekly clay mask. Drier skin can apply it only to the oilier zones.

What it will not do

It will not permanently shrink pores, remove deep blackheads in one use or treat acne. It does not replace your daily cleanser, sunscreen or moisturiser.

Good to know

The ingredient list includes fragrance and a eucalyptus scent, so very sensitive skin should patch test first. Keep it away from the eyes and lips, and do not leave it on longer than directed: clay that dries out completely can feel tight.

1. After cleansing, apply an even layer to the whole face, avoiding the eye and mouth areas.
2. Leave on for 3-5 minutes, then rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water.
3. Use 1-2 times a week, depending on your skin's condition.
