Anua 8 Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Gentle Foaming Cleanser 150ml

Anua 8 Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Gentle Foaming Cleanser is a low-irritation, fragrance-free foaming face wash for all skin types that leaves a non-drying finish. Anua calls it a moisturising cleanser that helps support the skin barrier.

How it works

Gentle cleansing agents (sodium cocoyl glycinate, lauryl hydroxysultaine, coco-glucoside, sodium lauroyl glutamate) form a foam that lifts sebum, sunscreen and daily residue. Eight forms of hyaluronic acid of different sizes, glycerin, panthenol and zinc PCA stay behind to help the skin feel hydrated rather than tight. Anua reports that it cleanses excess sebum and sunscreen by 89.07% after one use and increases moisture levels by up to 72.95% after 48 hours.

Who it suits

Anua positions it as a moisturising cleanser for all skin types. It works as a morning cleanse on its own and as the second step of an evening double cleanse. It suits people who like a proper foam but find classic foaming cleansers drying.

What it will not do

It will not fully remove heavy or waterproof makeup; use a cleansing oil first. It does not exfoliate and it is not a treatment for breakouts or any skin condition.

Good to know

Anua lists the hyaluronic acid forms in parts per billion, so the amounts are small; the hydration comes from the whole formula, including glycerin. It is a separate product from Anua's 8 Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Gentle Gel Cleanser, which has a different, gel-based formula.

1. Dispense 2-3 pumps into wet hands.
2. Gently massage the foam onto damp skin in circular motions.
3. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
4. Use morning and night. Remove makeup with a cleansing oil first; when double cleansing, emulsify the oil with water before using this cleanser.
