VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot Firming Eye Cream is a peptide eye cream with a cooling, vibrating metal tip, for adults who want the eye contour to look firmer and smoother. It is the original, non-PDRN eye cream in VT's Reedle Shot line.

How it works

VT Cosmetics says its CICA REEDLE, micro-sized needle-shaped particles that are 14 times thinner than pores, help the formula absorb instead of sitting on the surface. The cream combines acetyl hexapeptide-8 and other peptides, collagen extract and hyaluronic acid for a firmer, plumper look, plus bakuchiol, a plant ingredient VT describes as a retinol alternative, and niacinamide for a brighter-looking eye area. VT's CICA HYALON complex adds centella, three molecular weights of hyaluronic acid and green propolis for comfort. The applicator vibrates up to 12,000 times per minute and starts on contact.

Who it suits

Normal, dry and combination skin with fine lines, crepiness or a puffy look around the eyes, and anyone who enjoys a massaging, cooling applicator.

What it will not do

It is not microneedling and not a substitute for cosmetic procedures. It will not lift hooded lids, erase deep wrinkles or change dark circles caused by genetics.

Good to know

It contains fragrance (parfum); the VT Cosmetics PDRN Reedle Shot Firming Eye Cream is the version without added fragrance. Avoid contact with the eyes and do not use on broken or irritated skin. Wipe the tip clean after use. Patch test first and introduce one new active at a time.

1. Open the cap and press the tube to apply a suitable amount to areas of concern: under and around the eyes, around the mouth and between the brows.
2. Hold the cooling vibrating tip against the skin; it starts automatically.
3. Gently massage in a rolling motion until absorbed.
4. Wipe the tip clean after use.
