VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot EX Vitamin Modeling Pack is a single-use, peel-off powder mask for dull, tired-looking skin that wants a fresher, more radiant look. You mix the 25g powder with water, spread it over the face and peel it off once set. VT Cosmetics says the Vitamin version uses vitamin C for vitality and a more even-looking skin texture, with a cooling feel and a glowing finish.

How it works

Diatomaceous earth, glucose and algin form the base; with water it sets into a flexible layer. The formula includes ascorbic acid (vitamin C), niacinamide, pumpkin powder, pearl powder, portulaca and aloe, with kaolin to take up excess oil. Milk exosomes, whey filtrate and sodium hyaluronate add moisture. VT Cosmetics' Cica Reedle ingredient, micro-sized spicules combined with centella, is described by the brand as helping ingredients absorb and gently exfoliating dead skin.

What it will not do

It gives a temporary fresher, brighter look. It will not remove dark spots, pigmentation or post-blemish marks on its own, and it does not replace daily sunscreen or a targeted serum.

Good to know

One cup is one use. Mix fast and apply a thicker layer at the edges for easy removal. Avoid broken or irritated skin, and stop if stinging lasts. It contains propolis extract and milk-derived ingredients, so patch test if you are sensitive to these.

1. Open the cup's seal (VT Cosmetics suggests using scissors).
2. Add 6-7 spoonfuls of water using the spoon end of the included spatula.
3. Mix quickly and thoroughly with the other end of the spatula until smooth.
4. Spread evenly over clean, dry skin in this order: cheeks, chin, forehead, nose. Apply a thicker layer around the edges and avoid the eyes and lips.
5. Leave on for 15-20 minutes until set.
6. Peel off, then wipe away any residue with a toner pad (or rinse with water).
7. Finish with your usual skincare. Use 1-2 times a week.
