VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 300 50ml

VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 300 is the stronger, every-third-day booster serum for people already used to Reedle Shot who want more refined-looking skin texture. VT Cosmetics calls it the "Advanced Booster" of the line, for evening use.

How it works

VT Cosmetics says Reedle Shot uses spicule technology: micro Cica Reedle™ particles create microscopic channels that help the products applied afterwards absorb. VT describes 100, 300 and 700 as density levels; for the 300 it cites "237,500 shots of micro CICA REEDLE", more than the daily 100. The formula also contains Centella Asiatica extract, sodium hyaluronate, propolis extract, niacinamide, adenosine and an amino acid complex.

Who it suits

According to VT's FAQ, the 300 suits people building tolerance after the 100. VT says the line suits all skin types, including sensitive and blemish-prone skin, but sensitive or reactive skin should begin with the 100.

What it will not do

It is not microneedling, an injectable or an in-clinic treatment, and it does not treat acne, scarring or pigmentation disorders. Using it more often than VT advises will not speed up results.

VT recommends using Reedle Shot 300 every 3 days, in the evening, and not on the same day as Reedle Shot 100 or 700. VT says tingling on application is normal; if stinging or redness persists, use it less often or go back to the 100. Patch test first and avoid broken or irritated skin. VT advises against use with LED masks or beauty devices, or straight after dermatological procedures. With strong actives such as retinol, VT suggests alternating nights. Wear SPF daily.

1. In the evening, after cleansing, apply an appropriate amount to the face.
2. Massage gently until absorbed; a tingling sensation is normal, according to VT.
3. Follow with serums or creams.
4. Use every 3 days, and not on the same day as Reedle Shot 100 or 700.
5. Do not use with LED masks or beauty devices, straight after dermatological procedures or on broken skin. Apply SPF the next morning.
