L'Oréal Professionnel Silver Conditioner 200ml

L'Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Silver Conditioner is a purple toning conditioner for grey, white and light blonde hair. It is the conditioner of the Silver range and follows the Silver Shampoo.

How it works

The conditioner contains violet pigment (Acid Violet 43) and magnesium, which L'Oréal Professionnel uses in the Silver range to counter yellow tones. Conditioning agents such as behentrimonium chloride and amodimethicone help detangle, and the brand says it leaves hair soft and glossy to the ends.

Who it suits

Natural grey and white hair, and light blonde or highlighted hair that turns yellow or brassy between salon visits. It suits men and women.

What it will not do

It does not lighten hair or remove deep orange tones from darker hair; violet pigment neutralises yellow, not orange. It is a rinse-off conditioner, not an intensive repair mask, and it does not replace a toner applied at the salon.

Good to know

Very porous or highly lightened hair can pick up violet pigment faster, so watch the result and rinse very thoroughly. Use it after the Silver Shampoo for the full toning routine. 1. Shampoo, ideally with Silver Shampoo, and towel-dry your hair.
2. Apply the conditioner evenly through the lengths and ends.
3. Work it through the hair.
4. Rinse very thoroughly.
5. If the product gets into your eyes, rinse them immediately and thoroughly.
