Kevin Murphy KILLER.CURLS WASH 250ml is a nourishing oat milk shampoo that gently cleanses curly, wavy and permed hair while protecting the cuticle.

How it works

Kevin.Murphy developed the KILLER collection to define, enhance and refine naturally textured or permed hair. The oat milk shampoo is rich in fatty acids that help preserve strength and lock in moisture, and its hero ingredients are certified organic oat kernel extract, castor seed oil and soybean oil, for hydration, shine and manageability. Wet the hair, massage the shampoo into the hair and scalp, rinse and repeat if needed, then follow with KILLER.CURLS RINSE.

Who it suits

Naturally curly, wavy, coily or permed hair. Kevin.Murphy says the WASH and RINSE are right for every type of curl, from waves to coils, and designed to refine texture, combat breakage and prepare hair for air-drying.

What it will not do

A shampoo cleanses and prepares curls but does not define them: you still need a conditioner and a leave-in styler to set the pattern. Its main cleanser is sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, so it lathers like a normal shampoo rather than a co-wash.

250ml (the brand also sells 1000ml). Kevin.Murphy lists the shampoo as vegan and colour-safe. The fragrance is a soft, creamy blend of oat milk, vanilla orchid and citrus, grounded by patchouli, vetiver and smooth woods. Formulas can vary by region, so check the packaging.
