How FLAWLESS works

Kevin Murphy says FLAWLESS does six jobs in one lotion: it strengthens, repairs, protects, smooths, adds shine and styles. Its bond-building complex, KM.RE.BOND, works with arginine and a fermented oil blend of argan, green tea, camellia, sunflower and sweet almond oils. In the brand's 2025 laboratory study, measured against a non-conditioning shampoo, it repaired up to 73% of broken bonds, gave up to 6x less breakage, smoothed up to 95% of frizz and sealed split ends, with heat protection up to 232°C. It also speeds up blow-drying. The scent is bergamot, vanilla and yerba mate with a woody base.

Who it suits

Women and men with dry, damaged, coloured or frizz-prone hair, and anyone who blow-dries or uses hot tools often. Use less on fine hair and more on thick or long hair.

What it doesn't do

The repair, breakage and frizz figures come from Kevin Murphy's own laboratory test against a non-conditioning shampoo, not an independent study. FLAWLESS is a leave-in styler that gives a soft, flexible finish. It is not a treatment for hair loss or the scalp, and badly split ends still need a trim.

1. Wash and condition with a KEVIN.MURPHY wash and rinse.
2. Apply 1-2 pumps of FLAWLESS to clean, towel-dried hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends.
3. Comb through with the DE.TANGLING brush to spread it evenly.
4. Blow-dry, use heat tools or let your hair air-dry.
5. Use less on fine hair and more on thick or long hair.
