KEVIN MURPHY Curl Definition and Heat Protection Duo

Kevin Murphy Curl Definition and Heat Protection Duo pairs HEATED.DEFENSE leave-in heat protection foam with MOTION.LOTION curl-enhancing lotion.

What is included

• Kevin Murphy HEATED.DEFENSE 150ml (leave-in heat protection foam)
• Kevin Murphy MOTION.LOTION 150ml (curl-enhancing lotion)

How it works

HEATED.DEFENSE is a weightless, invisible leave-in treatment foam that gives heat protection up to 232°C / 450°F against heated and mechanical styling tools. MOTION.LOTION is a weightless, highly absorbent curl-enhancing lotion that controls frizz, gives flexible hold and adds natural-looking shine, helping create soft, separated curls.

Order of use

1. HEATED.DEFENSE: rub into damp hair, distributing through the lengths that will meet heat.
2. MOTION.LOTION: apply to damp hair, scrunch into the ends and mid-lengths and twirl to distribute.
3. Style as desired: air-dry, diffuse or blow-dry.

Who it suits

Wavy and curly hair that is blow-dried, diffused or heat-styled. Kevin Murphy positions MOTION.LOTION for fine hair and for defining loose, soft waves in long or fine hair.

What it will not do

MOTION.LOTION gives flexible hold, so it will not lock in a rigid, firm-hold style, and HEATED.DEFENSE is a protectant, not a repair treatment. Both contain fragrance and MOTION.LOTION contains lanolin.

Good to know

Sizes: HEATED.DEFENSE 150ml and MOTION.LOTION 150ml. The foam is applied to damp hair before heat is used, one to three pumps depending on hair length.
