DAVINES More Inside This Is A Curl Gel Oil 250ml

Davines More Inside This Is A Curl Gel Oil is a 250ml curl styler with a gel-to-oil texture. It goes on as a gel, defines and shapes curls with a medium hold (3 out of 5 on Davines' scale), and leaves them soft and shiny once dry, without a crunchy finish.

How it works

A film-forming polymer holds each curl in shape and forms a light "cast" as hair dries; when curls are completely dry, you scrunch it out to release softness and movement. Glycerin and panthenol add moisture, and squalane (Davines uses an olive-derived phytosqualane) softens the hair and helps tame frizz.

Who it suits

Curly to coily hair that needs definition and moisture, especially in Cyprus humidity, when curls frizz easily. It works on wavy hair too if you use a smaller amount.

What it will not do

• It is not a strong-hold gel. The hold is medium, for soft, bouncy definition rather than a firm, set style.
• It will not add volume to fine, straight hair. It is made to define curls, not to lift flat roots.
• It is not fragrance-free. It contains fragrance and EU-labelled allergens such as linalool and limonene.

Pair it with

Step 1
Warm a small amount between your palms and spread it through wet hair, section by section.

Step 2
Comb through or scrunch with your hands to shape the curls.

Step 3
Diffuse or air-dry without touching the hair too much, so the light cast can form.

Step 4
When curls are completely dry, scrunch gently to break the cast and release softness and volume.
